bloggin away

oh my gosh, have any of you seen the commercial for the smc make your own money from home? the guy is like "just send me 25 bucks and i will send you the free information....blah blah..." wait if i send him 25 bucks then is the information really free? i think not! anyways, hubby wanted to change the channel, but i was still waiting 10 minutes later for this guy to tell me what smc stood for... so i wouldnt let him change the channel... needless to say i waited forever to see what his deal was, 125 acres of warehouse space blah blah, stuffed with products you can make a 300 % profit on blah blah, and the dude still didnt tell me what the name smc stood for. so i blurted out "well what the hell does smc stand for anyways, cant get people to send ya 25 bucks when you dont even tell them what your company name is" so hubby says.... lmao he says "smc stands for send me more cash ......." i laughed so hard. hmmm, maybe you had to be there to laugh, but seriously it was funny.
so ya know yesterday was winter's first day back to school.... keegan started back on tuesday. so we walk in to the classroom, and everyone is so excited to see her. she sure has alot of friends. but there is this one kid in her class that has kind of a broken home. as far as i can tell he lives with his gramma and his mom is in jail and drug treatment. i cant be for totally sure cuz i can only sort of overhear conversations. i have never asked cuz i feel like it would be rather rude so the info i know is always overheard. in any case this lil guy is so needy for attention. he wasnt there when i dropped off winter. but in the afternoon when i picked her up it was recess time. so i pulled up by the playground , parked the car and wandered towards the area where they were playing. out of no where (we'll call him z) z comes running from across the playground, yelling as loud as his little lungs will let him "winter your mommy is here, hi caralyn hi , i missed you when it was x mas time, how are you hi" and he ran right into my arms. hes so danged cute, i asked how his x mas was, he said it was great his mommy even sent him a letter. i almost cried. so sad when mommys make babies and then sluff them off for petty things. then he asked how our x mas was. i told him it was great. just then winter came up hugging me saying what a great day she had. then z told us both that i could ...and i quote "you and winter could steal me, you could take me home with you" i was flattered and so hurt for him at the same time. he needs his mommy. and he said it so sincerely with a giant smile. it broke my heart. and whats worse, the teacher heard it, lord i hope she doesnt tell his gramma about it. how heartbreaking that would be for her.
anyways... gonna go run some dishes so maybe i will be back later........
by the way we are trying to figure out .gif files.... this should prove to be time consuming.....

Best thing you can do Caralyn is keep an eye on z, watch his expressions if he is happy, an occasional hug or a word of advise, and let him know that you care. Its sad that sometimes kindness can get you in to trouble. Its really very sweet of you Caralyn. Hope Winter is doing fine. I wish her all the sunshine and knowledge in the world.
